Memphis 2007

Last week I traveled to Memphis with a group of Wheaton College students as part of a spring break service trip. As always, I had my camera with me. Here are some the little things that caught my eye while in Memphis....

A true Chicago fan....

This past weekend, I feel as though I became a true Chicago sports fan. Well atleast that is for their football team. Not only did I stand in sub-zero temperature to have my picture taken to show my support, but my team lost in the Superbowl. They make it to the final game and then play terribly. I've heard native Chicagoan's say..."there's always next year." Now, I know what they mean....

On Saturday before the Superbowl, we decided to head downtown....










For the Superbowl...our Sunday football group gathered for good food, good friends and good football. Well, two out of three ain't bad.

Even though we have had a mild winter so far here in Illinois, I'm still craving summer. There is nothing like summertime in the mountains for me... it truly is favorite place to be. I came across these pictures tonite and even though summer is still a long way off, I thought I would post them anyways.
