Photography has taught me a great deal about the important things in life...especially how important it is to slow down and notice the beauty in the simple things. For some reason with my camera in hand, I've been able to capture my life from a different perspecitves. My photos, whether they're from Illinois, California, or Colorado have taught me that a little bit of perspective can be a powerful thing...

Here are some family pictures from trip to Denver in May. I spent three days watching the girls and then we all headed up to the lake house. My trip was definitely too short....
